I’ve gotten a number of Mueller products over the years and am consistently impressed with how well designed they are and how well they work. This chopper/mandoline is no exception. I’ve needed a mandoline for years and finally saw this and decided to go for it.Unfortunately, the was the first time I ran into an issue. The alignment of the pusher was off and the plastic began to flake apart (not ideal). A quick email to Mueller support resolved the problem almost immediately, and they had a new pusher in the mail for me. The new one is aligned properly and works perfectly, and I didn’t have to return or replace the whole product.I’ve been really impressed with how convenient (and fun) it is to dice up veg. I’m not sure if it’s actually that much of a time saver over using a knife, but it is a lot easier on my hands and it FEELS faster. It also stores most of the parts inside it pretty easily. All in all, another really well designed product from Mueller and fantastic customer support.

I really like this slap chopper. It’s easy to assemble and has many useful different types of chop cutting pieces! The speghetti slicing tools for the veggies or fun! The sharp products are pretty safe bc they have a wider plastic around them making them easier to hold and snap into place. You can fit a half of medium onion on the grid which cuts down cutting the veggie into quarters to chop. It chops really fast! I used this to make salsa with the small square grid it was perfect! I like how the bin is under the bottom and can slide out to dump in a bowl when it’s full. The one thing I don’t really like is that the top can come off when you slice the food and sometimes when you lift the top of it to fast to slap again. The whole unit is pretty sturdy and will stay in place on the counter. I wish the top part clicked onto the unit, so it would be more secure. Other than that it works really well.

I got this dicer for 50% off, I think, paying only $30 or so for a normally $60 dicer. This is the first dicer that I have ever owned, although I have used a friend’s dicer, and I will say that this cuts through about anything that you would need to dice in the kitchen. Like most dicers, stuff gets caught and stuck in the blades and the platform thingy, and it’s a little hard to wash, especially because those blades are seriously sharp. An onion stands no chance against those blades. All of the different tools/slicers are really awesome and work really well for the most part.It isn’t quite as big as what I thought it would be when I purchased it, and to give you an idea, most of the time I need to quarter an onion in order for it to be diced correctly and not smush out of the sides. If it’s a small onion, you can fit half of it in the dicing area and get it done that way. I am extremely happy with the purchase overall, especially at that price, and it has taken away a lot of frustration and time when I cook. Next time, I will probably get one that’s a little bigger, but this is most definitely a game changer by itself. Highly recommend this dicer. Just be careful with those blades! They are super sharp and got two of us bleeding within the first three or four days. Lol

I love these things so much because I’m a lazy cook and I like my vegetables to be chopped small. The blades are super sharp, I even cut tomatoes into perfectly cute little squares. I had another one of these, but it didn’t work near as well as this one. I love the attachments because there’s so many options and it’s easy to use, easy to clean, easy to put together. I hope it never breaks, it feels pretty sturdy so I don’t think it will, but if it does, I will definitely buy another one. Excellent value!

I’m a great fan of Waldorf salad, but the chopping of all those apples can be a deterrent to having it as often as I want to. But this chopper makes it easy! You do have to slice the apple to fit it onto the chopping surface, but then whacking the chopper down instantly produces perfect little cubes of apple. Same with the celery. I toast the walnut halves in my air fryer (yes, I’m a gadget nerd) and then chop them, too. I’ve also used it to chop mini cucumbers and red onions for a sour cream dill salad. Delicious and so easy to do!I will confess that I LOVE the way you absolutely have to SLAM down the upper portion of the chopper with enormous brute force. I’m not sure why I like that. I guess you could just rest the upper part against the item to be chopped and then press down firmly. But that wouldn’t be nearly as satisfying as the huge WHACK. I do put a folded towel under the whole unit to minimize noise and shock to the countertop. But this old lady loves that part of the chopping process.The larger of the two cube-shaped blade units is my preferred one. I haven’t tried the chopping blade that produces slices, nor have I tried the mandoline. I’m still fascinated by and in love with the square chopper. BTW the blades are VERY sharp. Be mindful when handling the blade parts. Don’t be fooled by their harmless appearance and touch the razor-sharp cutting surface accidentally. You won’t feel a thing until you see the blood on your fingers.Using the little “comb” to clean out food stuck in the tines on the underside of the upper unit is a bit challenging. Counter-intuitively, don’t use the comb as a rake and drag it through the tines. Use it with the curved side turned up like a scoop and pull veggie pieces up and out of the green pointy area. Hard to describe, but you’ll know it when you see it.I keep this gadget handy and use it often. Highly recommend.

It works great, does require a little bit of muscle. When chopping tomatoes the key is to do push down with a bit of force and fast , if you push slowly it squirts everywhere. It’s sturdy and easy to clean.

– so far i’ve only used two attachments (mandoline and julienne cutters) to prep my kani cucumber salad, and i am more than satisfied with the product- blades are SHARP, especially the mandoline blade. i cut myself accidentally 😅- has an array of attachments for a variety of cutting prep- easy to assemble and disassemble; also easy to clean- i am an avid cooker so this product has cut my cooking time almost in half, since a lot of time spent cooking is the prep

Going to have surgery so got this chopper to help my husband chop veggies easier while I’m off my feet. So far, we have used it 3 or 4 times & really like it. Also, the customer service is excellent. A gentleman named Kevin has helped a lot and has been very polite & quick to respond. We received everything in great condition except for just one of the plastic boxes that store the blades was broken in shipping. So, Kevin was quick send us a new one. Haven’t received it yet but it’s on the way.

I like to can small batches of pickles in late summer and hate lugging out my giant food processor, so I thought I’d ‘downgrade’ to a manual slicer. Let me just say that the Mueller Pro-Series slicer is the only thing you need to slice anything you could possibly want. Swapping out guards and blades is a cinch. Everything packs back up into the collection tray and stores away for next use. It’s all easy to wash by hand.Though I think the thing I’m most excited about is that I no longer get painful and blinding tears from chopping onion. I have unusually sensitive eyes that make onions harder to deal with than for most humans. This alone was worth the investment. Here I thought I was going to find a pickling helper when it’s just been an all-around helper in my kitchen! Highly recommend.

Received as a gift and haven’t had any problems! I like the interchangeable slots for different sized slicing. I always cut my veggies in half before slicing just cause I read in some reviews you need to do that and slices perfectly. But be careful when using the shredder/grinder because it can slice your finger! Accidentally got too close and nicked one of my fingers to where my ID couldn’t even be read on a fingerprint verification!
