In the continuing remodel of the second home, we have chosen black door knobs, cabinet pulls, and curtain rods to give a continuity of theme and this curtain rod was exactly the right weight to hold up this heavy, black-out, full length curtain. Installation was easy and really quick. Really happy with the way the remodel is going and having quality hardware adds that extra level of detail we like.

This Anndason Heavy Duty 1 inch Curtain Rod works well, and is the perfect fit for my 2 side-by-side windows. They’re adjustable, but it wasn’t necessary for me to extend the rod out any further in order to cover my windows. It’s made out of a thinner metal than I would’ve liked to have, but it’s still strong enough to easily hold up my curtains. I’m not sure if it’s just me, if I’m doing something wrong, but I’ve tried to tighten each of the end pieces/caps on this curtain rod (pushed on them, tried turning in both directions, even asked my significant other to try), but cannot seem to get them to tighten down, so they’ll just pop off/fall off randomly, or when bumped. The package comes with the hardware, and brackets, required for installation, which was relatively quick, and easy, to do. It even comes with instructions, if needed. Overall, I’d say they’re about the average, or maybe slightly better than the average, type of curtain rod.
